Kat Rhea is a Licensed Louisiana Real Estate Broker. Before working in real estate she was a Licensed Interior Designer in Houston, Texas where her firm House of Rhea offered client's a full spectrum of turnkey services in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction, Project management, and Landscaping.
Born in Mobile Alabama she relocated to Houston, Texas after marrying Kenneth Rhea, a physician. Looking for someplace to eventually retire they brought their family to Louisiana. In love with the food, diverse culture, and friendly people they decided to make Louisiana their permanent home.
After moving to Louisiana Kat opened a retail furniture & design boutique. One unique service offered to Realtors and Builders was staging. Forming friendships with several local Realtor groups, she was asked to stage various homes and offices for their clients and perhaps it was inevitable that she fell in love with real estate. After her offices were destroyed during Katrina, she made a decision not to reopen the retail store. In the aftermath following Katrina she acquired her real estate license and began helping the local Keller Williams and Century 21 offices rebuild. Looking to the future she decided to enter real estate full time. In her first year, Kat was honored as "Rookie of the Year" and joined the "Million Dollar Club".
Kat has an extensive background in Real Estate, Property management, Project management, Sales, Interior design, Staging, New Construction, Home renovations, Mobile & Modular homes, and Land Acquisitions. She serves as Broker and President of Kat Rhea - Real Estate Services serving the North-shore and Greater Baton Rouge area.
